AI, Innovation and Industry Collaboration: Engagements Across Kolkata
On 7 October 2026, the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCC&I), in association with Infinity, hosted an interactive session titled “The AI Era: From Investment and Innovation to the Future of Humanity,” featuring Subhashis Banerjee, Co-Founder of AI Foundry, and Umakant Soni, Co-Founder of ArtPark.
As part of the broader engagement, the Bharat.ai team from Bengaluru participated in meetings with Dr. Subrata Gupta, Advisor to the Chief Minister of West Bengal, and prominent Kolkata leaders Mr. Debashis Sen, Mr. Ravindra Chamaria, and Mr. Radhakrishnan. The engagements also included a visit to the IIT Kharagpur Kolkata Campus and a meeting with Dr. J. P. Chawdhury, a veteran of Kolkata’s manufacturing industry.
Together, these interactions brought perspectives from technology, industry, academia, and public leadership into a shared conversation on innovation and the evolving role of AI.
